This is a vintage razor from the mid to late 1880's in gorgeous condition considering the age and sought after status for collectors and shavers alike.
Wade & Butcher 'For Barbers Use' Sheffield
Near Wedge, Barber's Notch.
It measure 8/8 - 1/32 (1.031") at the widest.
The scales are Abalone with a tapered recon stone wedge. 
Razor centers nicely between the scales.
Shows a few tiny black spots just before the tang engraving, which would have meant losing all the engraving if one decided to remove all staining. The rest of the razor doesn't show any pitting or staining and looks immaculate. Has been professionally restored with a full re-grind and re-scaled.
