This is a Wade & Bitcher vintage razor from the mid to late 1880's in splendid condition considering the age and sought after status for collectors and shavers alike. Most of the noticeable blemishes (pitting/staining) are around the pivot area. There is also a partial crack at the scales (pivot/back scale) which has been present for the past 15+ years of ownership. It has never been an issue and/or gotten worse. The owner decided long time ago to leave the razor as original as possible without having it re-scaled and losing it's authenticity and collectors value.
