For sale is an excellent condition, limited edition Simpson M7 Manchurian brush featuring the rare faux Arabesque marble handle. The brush exhibits the distinctive Simpson Manchurian characteristics, such as soft hair with a subtle texture or tip presence. The hair is firm, providing a great, scrubby feel, typically attributed to the thicker shaft of the Manchurian badger hair. The brush has been thoroughly cleaned and sterilized. It does not include the original box. This brush is ideal for collectors and latherers.
 
The M7 is one of the original Alexander Simpson brush designs pre-dating back to 1919 around the time the company was founded in the East End of London. The 'M' denotes Macauley Road, the street address where the business was based at that time.
