This was a limited-edition for The Shave Nook. A limited run of 200 brushes was constructed, and purchasers were required to be members of TSN to be able to purchase. This is brush number 75/200.
 
The brush is  in excellent condition and was well taken care of.  M6 has a slight glue bump which helps to add a little backbone. The brush exhibits the distinctive Simpson Manchurian characteristics, such as soft hair with a subtle texture or tip presence. The hair is firm, providing a great, scrubby feel, typically attributed to the thicker shaft of the Manchurian badger hair. The brush has been thoroughly cleaned and sterilized. It does not include the original box. This brush is ideal for collectors and latherers.
 
The M6 is one of the original Alexander Simpson brush designs pre-dating back to 1919 around the time the company was founded in the East End of London. The 'M' denotes Macauley Road, the street address where the business was based at that time.
