For sale is a highly collectible, rare Rooney Stubby 3 Shaving Brush featuring a 26mm knot packed with Super Badger hair. Hair is soft with a moderate backbone. Overall it's in excellent condition. A light fading of the 'Hand 3 Made' lettering. Brush has been cleaned, and sterilized.
 
R.A. Rooney & Sons (historically known as the City of London Brushworks) was one of the oldest brush makers in England, tracing its lineage back to 1796. In the mid-2000s, the brand experienced a legendary "Renaissance" under the stewardship of Lee Sabini. During this era, the iconic Heritage handles were precision-turned in England by the acclaimed artisans Frank and Lynn McInroy.
 
Because Rooney is no longer in production, finding a 26mm Stubby 3 in good condition is increasingly difficult, making it a true investment piece for any serious shaver or collector
