Rainbow moonstone is the name given to a variety of labradorite that exhibits a blue or multicolored adularescence on a light body color. Rainbow moonstone is a member of the feldspar group, which makes up approximately 60% of the Earth's crust. Sometimes known as White Labradorite, Rainbow Moonstone connects us to Divine Inspiration, and channels it into our own intuition. The beautiful blue-white color of many stones reminded people of the way the moon looks. This sheen is created by its unique structure. Although it can be seen in most stones it is particularly prominent in Rainbow Moonstones. The Rainbow colored stone is the most highly regarded, due to its many special qualities. When you move these stones around often you will see beautiful colors reflected back at you, including scintillating shades of blue and purple.
 
Rainbow moonstone deposits are found in Canada, Australia, India, Madagascar, Mexico, Myanmar (Burma), Russia, Sri Lanka (Ceylon) and the USA.

This gorgeous, sparkling rainbow moonstone is mostly clear and depending the angle will shimmer and flash a blue/white/purple sheen. The rainbow moonstone is set with a tarnish resistant sterling silver bezel, hammered band and features an open back. It has a polished finish. The stone setting measures 14.80mm x 11.45mm. The hammered ring band measures 2.25mm wide x 1.75mm thick. The ring weighs 0.12oz / 3.5g.

It takes many hours to hand make a ring from scratch so it is best to be sure of your size. If you like to return it, you can ship it back (at your own expense of course) within 7 days after receiving the ring. You will receive a refund, minus the shipping + merchant fees.
