For sale is a gorgeous, vintage Pechika #55 straight razor made in Japan using Yasuki steel made by Hitachi. Yasuki steel is a high carbon white steel that is very pure and has the majorities of impurities removed.
 
Razor sits snug and closes nicely center. In full disclosure, the only noticeable visual imperfection is a slight dent or chip in the scales on the toe side. I attempted to capture a photograph of it, as it is challenging to photograph. There's no rust or disturbing stains, even around the pivot area. Overall the razor looks splendid.
