I am selling several razors from a straightrazor user and collector located in the USA
This is one of the most sought after and prettiest art-deco straight razors. They don't show up very often in excellent condition and close to 6/8. You'd be hard pressed to find one in this stellar condition on the open market. The blade has a mirror polish, clean with no rust, cracks, chips or disturbing stains. It has in no way been restored with greaseless compounds, sanding or grinding. It's as original as they come. Engraving on tang is very prominent. Very little hone wear. No issues with the scales. I'm not seeing any abnormal rust around the pivot area which tells me this hasn't been shaved with a lot. Beautiful example of an Otto Deutsch.
Otto Deutsch's Hans - Otto Deutsch & Söhne - Solingen, Germany
The blade measures a tad under 6/8 (.725")
Comes with the original cardboard box (although it says 5/8 I measured the razor to be nearly 6/8)
The razor is not shave ready however I can hone the razor at no extra charge or leave as is. Just leave a note in the special instruction text box when checking out.
Deutsch Hans Otto was a famous actor born August 10th, 1900 in Dresden, Germany and was murdered on November 24, 1933 in Berlin by the nazis for being one of the first communist Artist. The razors were made by Bresduk/Pearlduck in Solingen Germany (same company that are famous for the Dubl Ducks)
