This is a brand-new, unobtainable, Mastro Livi loom strop and travel-size paddle strop, still in its packaging. The loom strop features a stainless steel handle, a yellow horse leather and Irish linen-treated side with Cro-ox (green chromium-oxide). Additionally, it includes a brand-new Mastro Livi travel-size paddle strop, which features a wooden base with leather side only. Comes as featured.
 
Livi’s loom strop was offered in three sizes: a travel size, which only had a leather side, a small size, and a medium size, which was rather large and unwieldy. The Livi loom strop is a rigid, specialized straight razor strop. Instead of hanging loosely, the leather is stretched over a metal frame in a continuous loop. You adjust and control the tension by twisting the metal handle, providing a perfectly flat surface for precise blade alignment. The yellow leather side features a clean, premium bare leather without compound. The linen side gets coated with a green chromium oxide stropping compound. This compound has an abrasive particle size of approximately 0.5 microns, which translates to a grit size of 30,000 to 50,000.
