I am selling several razors from an estate sale located in the USA. The razor is in my possesion and ready to ship.
For sale is a vintage near wedge, Joseph Allen & Sons, Non XLL, made in Sheffield, England. Made anywhere between 1890 and 1925.
The edge is very clean but as you can see it has staining and pitting. Blade centers nicely and pins are tight.
The razor comes with the edge it was send to me however I can hone the razor at no extra charge or leave as is. Just let me know when checking out.
Joseph Allen & Sons: 1864 > 1925In 1889 they were located at the Oak Works, 157 New Edward St., Sheffield. In 1891 the company moved to the Ecclesal Works, Rockingham St. Joseph. In 1884 the NON-XXL trademark was bought from Unwin & Rodgers in 1884.
