This is a Filarmonica Especial Jose Monserrat Pou - Spain, first generation (1915-1967). A true collectors item and for shavers alike. Many claim that these early generation blades shave better than the rest.
 
Blade is in overall splendid shape considering its age. The etching has been reduced but still shows the 'Filarmonica Especial'. Tang engraving is crisp and clean. Scales are clean and blade sits snug and centers nicely. Yes, the very early Filarmonica razors, had very basic scales. The fancy scales, came much later. The more basic the scales, the older they are.
