For sale is a rare C.V. Heljestrand MK134, high quality shaver to add to your collection and pass on as a modern heirloom. In my lifetime, I have only encountered two other MK134 models. One had ivory scales, and the other was identical to the one being sold but in poor condition.
These models are extremely rare and are considered true collectibles. It is also the only model that was this large at 8/8. This high-end razor, was meticulously stored in a cabinet for display purposes as It was never shaved with since it was purchased.
Overall the razor is in excellent condition with just a few stains around the monkey tail/pivot area. Scales are original, straight and the razor closes center.
For shavers and collectors alike. They are considered very rare and unobtainable.

History
C.V. Heljestrand is a renowned brand of Swedish steel straight razors with a rich history spanning over a century and a half.
1808: The company was founded in Eskilstuna, Sweden by Alderman Olof Heljestrand. Although production ceased in 1980, C.V. Heljestrand straight razors remain highly sought after by collectors and enthusiasts. The razors are considered vintage and are difficult to find. They are known for their high-quality Swedish steel and excellent craftsmanship.
The story behind the M.K. branding.
In the early 1920s, Swedish-French entrepreneur Magnus Kindal (M.K.) collaborated with Heljestrand, to produce razors bearing the Kindal brand for sale through Kindal’s French business. Around 1925, Kindal acquired Heljestrand and initiated the large-scale export of Heljestrand razors bearing his initials (M.K.). The MK134 model was produced and sold by the company in 1957.
