Blutt Rasur Safety Razor - Switzerland

This razor is being offered on consignment. It is in my possesion and ready to ship

For sale is a Blutt Rasur DE safety razor - 0.86 blade gap in splendid, like new condition.

The Blutt Rasur BR-1 safety razor is made out of 1.4404 / 316L stainless steel in Switzerland. Unlike common die cast razors, it is CNC milled. This solid material manufacturing allows for tighter tolerances, as well as an improved blade fit. Due to its flat head shape, the BR-1 is very maneuverable and also allows for easy upper lip shaving. The concealed blade tabs ensure a safe shave. The BR-1 is available with different base plates, these differ in blade gap and blade exposure to customize the shaving experience:

  • 0.67mm blade gap – mild – blade exposure – neutral
    • ideal for shaving every 1 – 2 days or for sensitive skin

  • 0.86mm blade gap – medium – blade exposure – positive (low)
    • ideal for shaving every 2 – 3 days or for rather sensitive skin

  • 0.99mm blade gap – medium-aggressive – blade exposure – positive (medium)
    • ideal for shaving every 3 – 5 days or for rather insensitive skin

  • 1.20mm blade gap – aggressive – blade exposure – positive (high)
    • ideal for shaving every 5 – 7 days or for a generally more aggressive shave

Our blade geometry ensures a smooth and yet efficient shave with all plates.

  • GPSR (General Product Safety Regulation)

The new GPSR regulation will become effective in Europe on December 13, 2024.

This new law is intended for individuals or companies engaged in business transactions with or within the European Union.

The GPSR requires that all consumer products on the EU markets are safe and it establishes specific obligations for businesses to ensure it.

Sellers are compelled to engage in hiring or establishing a European-based economic operator. Basically a local EU authorized company that will represent me. For each country you sell into you'll need to register the EU responsible person with that marketplace. Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, compile a declaration of conformity, and ensure proper identification for each item. Disclose the manufacturer’s name and address on every listing, thereby compromising privacy concerns. These are merely some of the primary requirements.

Given the cost prohibitive, excessive and unreasonable requirements, particularly for small-scale sellers, I have made the decision to discontinue offering and selling my products to the European Union.

The future trajectory of this situation remains uncertain. Should regulations be modified or simplified to accommodate small businesses, I may reconsider reinstating shipping to Europe

  • I have no way of adding UPS Worldwide as a shipping option but if you place your order with USPS Express International I can upgrade you at no charge to UPS worldwide which usually takes between 3 and 5 business days to arrive. USPS Express International can easily take up to 4 weeks or longer depending the final destination and custom upholds.

If you want the UPS upgrade please leave me a note when checking out or send me an e-mail.

Custom duties, import taxes and UPS handling fee are the buyers responsibility.
