Australia produces around 95% of the worlds opals. The town of Coober Pedy in South Australia is a major source of opal. Opal is one of the most beautiful blue gemstone in the world. The featured Australian opal ring is made from 14K gold and sterling silver. The polished bezel is made from 14K yellow gold and the backing is made from sterling silver. The round silver band is 2.00 mm thick. It has a polished finish. The Australian opal doublet setting measures 15.00mm x 10.15mm and is considered a uniquely larger specimen. The total weight of the opal doublet ring is 0.12oz / 3.5 gr.
The natural opal doublet comes from Coober Pedy Australia and is part of a vintage supply. It was mined in the 90's.
It's a very gorgeous, elegant and timeless opal ring with lots of fire that's made in a solid silver and gold setting. The opal has a uniform fire pattern with thin snippets and spots of sparkling colors.
The featured and pictured ring in this listing is a size 7 and is ready to ship. However I can stretch this ring to a size 7 1/4, 7 1/2, 7 3/4, and size 8. Please use the drop down to choose your final ring size.
