24K Gold

24-karat gold is 100%, as-pure-as-it-gets gold, meaning it is non-alloyed. It is also the most expensive type of gold on the market today. Sourcing pure gold is a taxing endeavour and it is not found in abundant quantities. It is precisely this scarcity that makes 24k gold so precious, valuable, and desired.

Blacklip Mother of Pearl (Pinctada Margaritifera) is probably one of the most exclusive pearls in demand in todays inlay market. Blacklip comes from small shells found in French Polynesia around Tahiti and its Archipelagos. The White Mother of Pearl shells (Pinctada maxima oyster) come from the crystal clear turquoise seas of Northern Australia.

Red Abalone (Haliotis rufescens) is a species of very large edible sea snail in the family Haliotidae, the abalones, ormers (British) or pāua. It is distributed from British Columbia, Canada, to Baja California, Mexico. It is most common in the southern half of its range. Red abalone is the largest and most common abalone found in the northern part of the state of California

The scales are 100% genuine abalone shell on a black backing and covered with a durable topcoat of industrial resin making them very sturdy, maintenance free and at the same time protecting the shell.

Abalone/Paua is a common name for any of a group of small to very large sea snails, marine gastropod molluscs in the family Haliotidae. Other common names are ear shells, sea ears, and muttonfish or muttonshells in Australia, ormer in Great Britain, abalone in South Africa, awabi in Japan and pāua in New Zealand. Abalone can be found along the coasts of New Zealand, Australia, Japan, South Africa and North America.
