All engraving is done by hand. Hand engraving is a labor-intensive process that requires numerous extended hours and supreme patience, which is why it commands a premium over machine methods like laser or cnc engraving.

Genuine mother of pearl (nacre) is the iridescent, organic-inorganic layer secreted by mollusks, such as oysters and abalones, on the interior of their shells. It is the exact same lustrous material that creates natural pearls, widely utilized for jewelry, inlays, and dials. It is exceedingly challenging to precisely capture the exact colors of the inlay due to the iridescent nature of the shell, which alters its hue at every angle.
This Carbon Fiber is comprised of a woven material throughout all of the layers of the laminate. It has a glossy finish on both sides. Tiny micro voids or pits on any carbon fiber finish (natural, satin or glossy) is normal when present and pretty much unavoidable.
Pinctada Maxima is the largest and rarest of all pearl oysters. There are two different color varieties: the white-lipped oyster known as mother of pearl (MOP) and the gold-lipped oyster known as gold mother of pearl (Gold-Lip). It occurs naturally only in the warm tropical South Pacific waters of the Arafura Sea (off Northern Australia), Eastern and Northern Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Myanmar and Northern Thailand and to the east to Fiji and Tahiti.
