It's very difficult to accurately capture the exact colors of the scales because shell is very iridescent and changes hue at every angle.

The scales are 100% genuine mother of pearl shell on a white backing and covered with a durable topcoat of industrial resin making them very sturdy, maintenance free and at the same time protecting the shell.

The red jasper is produced from approximately 85% natural stone ore. The ore is pigmented, compressed into blocks and impregnated with approximately 15% acrylic gem resin so it's workable.

Turbo marmoratus, known as the green turban, the marbled turban or great green turban,  is a large herbivorous snail. It has a thick, heavy shell, dextrally coiled and roughly turban-shaped. It is mostly found in South and East Africa, east to Japan, Indonesia, Australia, and Fiji.
