It's very difficult to accurately capture the exact colors of the scales because shell is very iridescent and changes hue at every angle. The colors are predominatlely blue, green, purple and pink.

The scales are 100% genuine Paua shell on a blue backing and covered with a durable topcoat of industrial resin making them very sturdy, maintenance free and at the same time protecting the shell.
