Up for grabs is a vintage Walker & Hall, Sheffield razor and company from the late 1800's - early 1900's. It has a gorgeous vine/leaf engraving. It was fully restored however I could not remove all blemishes as this is a full hollow so remaining residual surface stains and micro pits remain mostly on the hollow grind which do not affect the shave. The engraving is nicely preserved. Scales are carribean blue acrylic with a tapered recon stone wedge. The razor is shy of 13/16 (.805"), full hollow.
Comes Shave Ready.
Walker & Hall used to be a huge manufacturor in the 1800's. The flag mark with W&H on it was registered in 1863. By 1900 both Walker and Hall had passed away and John Bingham was head of the company. They were known for their cutlery. silverware and electro-plating. You can read up on some of their history here.
