FREDERICK REYNOLDS
In business since early 1840's. Frederick Reynolds was a razor manufacturer born in Derbishire. He was working at Sims Croft in the early 1840's. The address changed to School Croft by 1849. Around 1860 Mr Reynolds employed 15 men and moved the operation to Gell Street. Trading continued well in into the 1870's located at Monmouth Lane. Mr Frederick Reynolds died on October 22nd 1877 at the age of 63.
Blade looks splendid with very little, if any blemishes. Razor closes center and pins are tight. I would say it looks stellar and the razor looks amazing for its age. For me personally Wade & Butcher and Fredrick Reynolds are my favorite Sheffield razors.
