Time is a valuable resource. The intricate enhancements such as inlays, hand engraving, and file work require significant time investment. By providing a basic razor, I can reduce the overall time and labor required to produce each one. You will still receive the same quality razor that I am renowned for, albeit with fewer upgrades. This allows everyone to buy and own a Max Sprecher custom straight razor.
The Max Sprecher Value Line Custom Razor is a traditional, functional and beautiful razor that is offered in a classic configuration. When you purchase a Max Sprecher Value Line Custom Razor, you will be paying for the base price of the razor without the upgrades. It is your choice if you would like to upgrade the razor using several options I have available such as scale material and file work. Razors are made from 01 tool steel (62 HRC) which is the steel of choice for any straight razor. The Value Line razor features a conventional-sized cutting edge measuring 2.75 inches and is exclusively available with a curved design ranging from 7/8 to 9/8. This design facilitates an effortless maneuverable shave, and in the long term, the edge will maintain its shape effectively. Grinds are limited to wedge, 1/4 hollow, and 1/2 hollow only.

Always wipe your razor clean and store it in a dry location. For better storage wipe the steel with a protective oil (ex. camelia oil, ballistol, mineral oil, baby oil, renaissance wax, vaseline, gun oil...)
I always recommend not closing the razor when you are done shaving as water and humidity can still be trapped between the razor scales. Let it open for at least 15 minutes or longer before storing away your razor so any water or humidity can evaporate.
