Gibeon is a meteorite that fell in prehistoric times in Namibia, Africa. It was eventually discovered by the Nama people in 1836 and used by them to make tools and weapons. In 1836, the English captain J.E. Alexander collected some samples from the Great Fish River area and sent them to London where they were analyzed and confirmed as being meteorites. About 100–150 different fragments have been collected over time, and additional pieces are still found occasionally.
 
It is a unique meteorite with a pattern that only occurs in certain metal alloys cooled under near zero gravity conditions and extreme cold temperatures. This deep space structure cannot be duplicated on Earth, nor can it be found in natural Earth metals.
 
Gibeon is a true fragment of an exploded asteroid star and is far rarer than gold or diamonds.
